Pet of the Week

My name is Paul. I’m around 2-3 years young and I weigh 26 pounds. I am very sweet and very playful, so I need someone to play with me! I love running around in the yard and playing with toys. I’m good on a leash and sure would love to go on walks with you by my side. I also like to play with other dogs but like to be introduced slowly and get to know them with you by my side. If you are interested in adopting me, please come down to BAS and meet me. If you call for information, reference system No. 25340.

This little frisky fella is Leonardo. He’s definitely not a needy cat. He wouldn’t mind if you work long hours as long as you keep his food and water bowl full and his litter box clean. He’ll be delighted when you get home and might even want to snuggle with you! We believe Leonardo is around 9 months old. He currently weighs 7 pounds.  Please stop by the shelter to meet Mr. Leonardo!! Leonardo # 25815

Hendrix is one cool dude. He is great on a leash, loves to play, doesn’t bark a lot, is very patient and knows basic commands. He’s a staff favorite at Beaumont Animal Services, where they believe he is a red healer mix around 2 years old. His fur is very soft, and it has orange/red dots. He weighs 43 pounds. No. 24681

Kenzo

The shelter has a long-timer in need of a good home. Kenzo will need a lot of room to stretch those legs. Beaumont Animal Services believes he has some Great Pyrenees in him, known for their docile temperament, devotion to people, and intelligence.

Kameron is 4 months old and really sweet. He was found as a stray, so he’s a bit nervous at the shelter. At such a young age, the streets are no place for a kitten; adjusting to the shelter life is a little scary, but he’s doing very well. The shelter staff have been showing him how to get used to people holding him, and showing him affection. (It’s actually quite nice!) Once he opens up, he likes to play and be petted and loved on. Don’t forget to look at him when you come to the shelter.

This Pixie will stick by your side, but you’ll want to pick her up as fast as you can. Pixie is a 2-1/2-year-old, 9-pound female miniature dachshund/Chihuahua mix. Her owner surrendered her to the shelter because they were moving. Pixie is absolutely adorable! She has a doxie’s long body and muzzle but a Chihuahua’s taller legs. By far, her most fetching feature is her oversized ears.

Damon is handsome now and on his way to being a big, strong, manly cat. Adorable just won’t cut it. You just have to love his distinctive black and white spotted coat, especially with that little goatee and the cute spot on his nose. Damon is lovable, companionable, and a good natured guy, as well. He might act just a little bit timid in new situations with unfamiliar surroundings and noises, but give him just a minute and he’ll settle right in – especially if you hold him in your arms and cuddle him! He also enjoys running around and playing.

Odie is a 5-year-old dish found running the roads in Beaumont. His coat looks like a Dreamsicle with its beautiful markings. Odie is a talker and loves to have morning talks while you prepare his breakfast. He enjoys watching the birds out the window during the day. Not big on toys but litter box trained, we think he would be great in any home. He loves to sit in your lap and have his ears scratched. If you want a big handsome boy, go on down to the shelter before someone else snatches him up.

Ginger, 4-month old Corgi mix puppy

You will fall for Ginger in a snap! This cute cookie is a 4-month old, 11-pound Corgi mix pup. Ginger’s owners surrendered her to our shelter because they did not want to housetrain a puppy. This takes a little patience and creativity! She has a beautiful golden-blond, medium-length coat, and cute, fluffy tufts of fur on her ears. She most likely will remain a fairly small dog. Ginger is affectionate and fun to cuddle. She is as playful and fun as any pup could be.
