A man was allegedly robbed in Port Arthur on Monday, Nov. 21 at 3:53 a.m., Port Arthur Police Department said in a release.

PAPD officers responded to a call about a robbery in the 600 block of West 17th Street. Officers discovered a male black victim who sustained a minor injury to his head after being struck with a firearm. The victim was able to give officers information relating to the incident during the invvestigation.

A Port Arthur man was assaulted with a club at Louis Manor Apartments on Tuesday, Nov. 15 around 10:50 p.m., Port Arthur Police reports.

Port Arthur Police officers responded to call from St. Mary's Hospital about an assault victim being treated in the emergency room. The victim, a 31 year old Port Arthur man, reported that he was assaulted by the suspect with a club at Louis Manor Apartments, 1300 Joe Louis Avenue.

During the assault, the victim sustained injuries which included a broken or fractured arm.

A Port Arthur resident suffered a self-inflicted gunshot wound to his foot on Friday, Nov. 11.

Port Arthur Police officers were notified of a gunshot victim at St. Elizabeth's hospital at 1:48 p.m. Their investigation revealed that the Hispanic man's wound was self-inflicted. The injury was non life-threatening and the victim ultimately refused medical treatment and was released.

Port Arthur Police responded to a disturbance at Port Arthur Park Apartments on Saturday, Nov. 12 at 3:49 a.m.

Officers discovered a 39 year old black man who suffered a head injury from a baseball bat. He was transported to St. Elizabeth's hospital for treatment. The suspect was also located and arrested for aggravated assault and transported to the Jefferson County Correctional Facility for booking.
