A Beaumont man has undergone at least one surgery and is recovering after he was wounded in a gunfight with Beaumont police Saturday night, Aug. 24.

Detectives have identified three juvenile suspects in the July 5 attempted robbery of a postal worker that occurred in the 2100 block of Ives Street, the Beaumont Police Department said in a press release.

Detectives obtained felony warrants for all three suspects and have arrested all three. A 16-year-old, a 14-year-old and a 12-year-old, all female, were booked into the Jefferson County Juvenile Detention Facility for a charge of attempted robbery, a third degree felony.

Vidor Police are investigating a bank robbery that occurred at Mid South Bank at 1384 North Main St. in Vidor at 4:26 p.m. Monday, Jan. 14.

The suspect was described as a white male wearing blue jeans, a dark-colored jacket and a dark-colored Texas Tech ball cap.

An armed robber fired one shot into the ground during a robbery in the parking lot of the Target Shopping Center on Thursday, Nov. 15


According to a press release from Captain Cliff Hargrave of the Orange Police Department, two subjects broke into the State Line Chevron, 2323 S. Lutcher in Orange on Nov. 15 at approximately 3:50 a.m.  The subjects stole items including several cartons of cigarettes.


Port Arthur Police are looking for three black males who robbed the Mini Mart at 3453 25th St. in Port Arthur Sunday evening.

According to Sgt. J. Lloyd with the PAPD, the three males entered the store around 8:45 Sunday evening, all three were wearing ski masks, they displayed chrome handguns and demanded money. They made off with an undetermined amount of money before fleeing the scene on foot.

A K-9 tracking dog was used when officers arrived, however the canine came up with noting. The robbery remains under investigation.
