shelter animals

Francis has been at the shelter for a few weeks now. She will need a loving, patient home and an owner that has the time to train her. Francis is a loving dog but needs reassurance on the leash.  If you love Dobies and have the time to work with her, then Francis may be the perfect pet for you. Stop by Beaumont Animal Care today and meet Francis and all of her roommates today.

One was surrendered to the shelter when his family lost everything during Hurricane Harvey, but he has so much love to give! One is not your usual Labrador retriever; he is calm and gentle in nature. One prefers sitting at your feet and enjoying your company, rather than chasing ducks or swimming. Don’t get us wrong — he is an active pupper who does enjoy a nice lap around the pool, and enjoys playing with his canine and human friends! A truly incredible dog, One has a giant heart full of love that he is waiting to give to a family. Could that family be yours?

Chance was found in traffic, scared and dodging cars. He is very loving but needs some help establishing trust. He is not used to people loving and doting on him. He needs someone who has patience and understanding. He is growing more confident every day and would do best with an owner who will continue to help him learn. He’s building more trust and is starting to walk on a leash. He needs someone who is experienced and has no children. No. 31078

Marshall

Meet Marshall, a beautiful male American Staffordshire terrier. He weighs 74 pounds and came in July 24 as a stray. However, he is extremely friendly and loves people. Marshall has shared playtime with other shelter dogs and gets along just fine. He showed no interest when a cat “fluffed” by him. Marshall is very much the gentleman when walking on a leash. A home visit is required on all American Staffordshire terrier adoption requests prior to approval. The adoption fee of $120 covers the neuter, DHLP, bordatella, rabies, flea treatment and worming.

Time’s up! This expression has so many different meanings. You’re taking a test, and then time’s up. Cookies in the oven are done when time’s up. A sweet dog sitting in an animal shelter since Feb. 20? Time’s up! Meet Sarge, a young male Lab mix, and yes, he has been at Beaumont Animal Services since late February.

She is a very laid back girl and would love to spend her days watching the world go by. She is very friendly with people and other dogs. She would likely do fabulously well in a home with children. Josie is around 6-7 months old. No. 29119.

Jaxson, a handsome, friendly male weighing about 44 pounds, knows some commands. He’s a very playful dog and loves to get belly rubs, as you can see. He can walk on a leash very well and strut his good looks. An assertive dog, he can be a little picky about who he wants to be doggie friends with. He’s the best of both worlds, with the energy of a boxer and a big ol’ bucket of love like a pitty. Jaxson No. 29014

Hello, friends. My name is Two. Yes, just like the number. My owner passed away, and I’m sad but hopeful that I will find a new home. I’m a very loving and gentle cat who is 5 years old. I’m up to date on all of my vaccinations, neutered and litter-box trained. I have a laid-back and lovable disposition. The perfect day for me would involve a couple hours of sun bathing, playing with my favorite mouse toy and getting loved on by my human. I used to live in a home with other cats and was previously an indoor/outdoor cat. Please come and visit me at the shelter!
