Symphony of Southeast Texas

The Symphony of Southeast Texas (SOST) presents a great way to kick off the yuletide season with family and friends at “Home for the Holidays” on Sunday, Dec. 4, at 3 p.m. at the Julie Rogers Theatre in Beaumont.

The Symphony of Southeast Texas (SOST) continues its Classics Series at the Julie Rogers Theatre (765 Pearl) in downtown Beaumont on Saturday, Nov. 19, with “Triumphant Tchaikovsky,” featuring wonderful triumphs from one of the greatest composers of all time. Beethoven’s “Egmont Overture,” Bizet’s Symphony in C and Tchaikovsky’s Violin Concerto make for an international program of time-honored classics. The concert will begin at 7:30 p.m.

The Symphony of Southeast Texas (SOST) is taking the magic of music to the next level by performing three very different concerts at three different locations within the next two weeks, giving everyone in Southeast Texas the opportunity to experience live orchestra music at its best.

“Our theme this season is ‘SOST Fantastique’ and we want to perform great and memorable music that everyone can enjoy at the Julie Rogers Theater and around the community,” said SOST Music Director Chelsea Tipton II.
