Aug. 12, Beaumont Police officers were dispatched to the 3700 block of Magnolia Street in reference to a stabbing at 1:15 a.m. According to a press release, upon arrival, officers found that two women had been involved in a physical altercation in which one of the women produced a knife and stabbed the other several times. The victim had already gotten to St. Elizabeth hospital by the time officers arrived. She was reported to be in stable condition and being treated for several stab wounds to the left side of her body and arm.

Police in Orange received a call at approximately 7:21 p.m. Sunday, August 4, regarding a disturbance in which a male was reportedly dragging a female westbound along Highway 105 near the Orangefield High School.
