Just before 4:30 p.m. on Nov. 11, Beaumont Fire Rescue units responded to a reported structure fire at 3191 Tracy Ave., near Pope St. According to a press release, when firefighters arrived, they found flames visible from a rear window of the home. Firefighters were able to make a quick offensive attack and contain the fire to one bedroom but there was smoke damage to the rest of the house. No one was home at the time of the fire.

Beaumont firefighters battled a structure fire in the 1600 block of Ives Street on Nov. 5.

According to a news release from Beaumont Fire Rescue, units were dispatched to the blaze at about 1 a.m. When firefighters arrived at the residence on Ives, they found the dwelling heavily involved with fire. The fire was quickly extinguished but caused major fire damage to the home.

No one was home at the time of the fire and there were no injuries. The occupants returned home while firefighters were on the scene, and Red Cross was called to the assist them.

At approximately 1 a.m., Oct. 14, Beaumont Fire Rescue units responded to a reported structure fire at 4080 Ector. According to a press release, when Firefighters arrived, they found the kitchen of the home on fire. Firefighters were able to contain the fire damage to the kitchen area but there was smoke damage throughout the house.

At 10:32 p.m., Beaumont Fire Suppression units responded to a report of a house on fire at 11155 Pine Haven, upon arrival units discovered heavy fire in the rear of the single family two story dwelling. According to a Sept. 2 press release, units were unable to make an interior fire attack because of heavy fire conditions. It took over an hour to bring the fire under control. Neighbors report one person was living in the dwelling; however firefighters conducted multiple searches throughout the dwelling and were unable to locate the occupant. The cause of the fire is under investigation.

Shortly after 10:00 p.m. on August 14, Beaumont Fire Rescue units responded to a reported structure fire at 1303 Johns Street. According to a press release, when firefighters arrived, they found a vacant dwelling heavily involved with fire. Firefighters made a defensive attack and controlled the fire within 20 minutes. The house was vacant with no utilities connected and the fire appears to be deliberate. One firefighter sustained an injury to an arm. He was transported to St.

At approximately 10:51 AM, Beaumont Fire Rescue units responded to the report of a structure fire at 1929 Euclid. When firefighters arrived, they found one room of the home involved with fire. Firefighters were able to contain the fire to one room of the house. There were no injuries. The cause of the fire appears to be an electrical problem. Red Cross was called to assist the occupant, according to a press release.
