Suspects in an October case of theft

Nederland Police Department is asking for the publics help in identifying two suspects in a case of theft, which occurred Wednesday, Oct. 10 2018. 

Any one with information on the identity of these suspects is asked to contact Detective Dupuis at (409) 723-1569.

On Sept. 2, the Hardin County Sheriff’s Office launched an investigation into a reported dog fighting ring in Hardin County. Since then, the agency has been gathering evidence and eye witness accounts of criminal activity related to animal cruelty and dog fighting, bringing the total to five arrests made so far.

The Orange County Sheriff's Office is looking for help in identifying two burglary suspects. According to an announcement from the Orange County Sherriff’s Office, the two suspects are both white males who are suspected of entering a residence at 5780 N. Main in Vidor in the early morning of August 30 and removing property. Items stolen include antique signs, movies, toys and even an antique bicycle.

Tuesday, Jan. 30, 2018 at 10:50 p.m., two suspects committed an aggravated robbery at the Shop N Save located at 2675 S. Fourth St.

The crime was captured on the store’s video surveillance system. The suspects are described as a heavy set, light skinned black male wearing a gray jacket with two blue stripes down the arms, camo shorts, and black Nike slides. The male is armed with a black rifle during the commission of the Robbery. Detectives believe that the second suspect, wearing the camo jacket and hospital mask, may be a black female.

Update: By June 10, donations to Crime Stoppers increased the reward for information leading to arrest in the capital murder of Kera Teel to $14,500.

The reward for information leading to the arrest of the suspect or suspects responsible for the capital murder of Kera Teel, a 19-year-old pregnant mother who was shot to death June 6, has been increased to $10,000 after local businesses and concerned citizens donated monies to increase the amount in order to encourage members of the public to come forward if they know anything.

Beaumont police arrested four suspects on charges of felony theft and engaging in organized criminal activity for allegedly stealing trailers and lawn equipment from a local business, reports Officer Haley Walters.

On Sunday, January 3, 2016, at approximately 9:25 p.m., officers responded to a robbery at Popeye’s Chicken, located at 6432 Phelan Blvd in Beaumont. According to Beaumont police officer Carol Riley, officers were advised via dispatch that a suspect had a gun to the head of an employee and some of the employees fled the store on foot through the back door.

Officers arrived in the area and began searching for the suspects.

On Saturday, December 19, 2015, at 12:30 a.m., Beaumont police responded to a victim of a shooting at 1410 Pipkin. Upon arrival, officers found a victim with two gunshot wounds. The victim claimed that as he was returning home around midnight, two subjects attacked him outside his home.
