When Hurricane Harvey rained down on Southeast Texas at the end of August, hundreds of children already uprooted from their homes due to incidences of abuse and neglect yet again had their lives thrown into turmoil. Some lost all.


Beaumont Police are asking for your help in identifying this suspect.


Baytown Police are searching for a women who they believe keyed a disabled veteran's vehicle while it was parked in a handicapped parking space on June 9 at about 2:35 p.m.

The vehicle had proper placards displayed at the time of the incident, police say. She may be driving a silver Nissan Juke.

Approximately $1000 of damage to the veteran's vehicle was done.

At approximately 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, December 15, 2015, Beaumont police officers responded to a disturbance in the vicinity of the Regent Apartments near Gulf Avenue. 

According to Officer Joe Ornelas, while officers attempted to handle the disturbance they were called out for, shots rang out nearby, prompting the officers to take cover. One officer was hit with what he believed to be a pellet, and was not injured.

Beaumont Police have arrested a man they say was responsible for a pair of purse snatchings just before the holidays.
