According to Henry, Orange County troopers responded to the scene of a two-vehicle accident on State Highway 62 at the intersection of North Ridge Drive at about 8:30 a.m. The preliminary crash investigation indicated a 2005 International truck was stopped and facing north on S.H. 62 waiting to turn left onto North Ridge Drive when it was struck from behind by a 2014 Dodge van, Henry stated.

A teenage passenger of a car involved in an accident in Orange County on June 6 is recovering from injuries after the 16-year-old driver of the pickup truck in which she was riding reportedly turned illegally in front of an 18-wheeler causing the big rig to strike the vehicle.

According to Davis, troopers responded to a report of the accident on I-10 near mile marker 834 in Jefferson County at 5:10 p.m. The crash occurred on the westbound side of Interstate 10 on the inside shoulder near the cable barriers.
