A few months ago, sitting through the trailer for this movie, I heard comments around me like “weird,” “interesting,” and, yes, it is kind of weird and interesting. After all it is a Wes Anderson movie so that’s to be expected.

The cast and creative team are ready for the summer chills production of Alfred Hitchcock’s The 39 Steps at the Alley Theatre, located at 615 Texas Ave. in downtown Houston.

Based on the classic film by Alfred Hitchcock, The 39 Steps is adapted by Patrick Barlow, directed by Mark Shanahan, and runs July 21 – Aug. 20 in the Hubbard Theatre. Tickets start at $26 and are available now at alleytheatre.org.
