In recognition of the annual partnership between the National Association of Letter Carriers (NALC) and local food banks, the Walden Road Post Office hosted a news conference Thursday, May 11 to promote the 25th Annual Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive, conducted throughout the nation and region on Saturday, May 13.

Detectives have identified three juvenile suspects in the July 5 attempted robbery of a postal worker that occurred in the 2100 block of Ives Street, the Beaumont Police Department said in a press release.

Detectives obtained felony warrants for all three suspects and have arrested all three. A 16-year-old, a 14-year-old and a 12-year-old, all female, were booked into the Jefferson County Juvenile Detention Facility for a charge of attempted robbery, a third degree felony.
