Vidor City Manager Mike Kunst and Vidor Police Chief Rod Carroll invite the public to join them from 7 a.m. to 8 a.m. for coffee at Whataburger on Main Street in Vidor Aug. 4. According to Kunst, the pair will be meeting at the fast food establishment "semi-regularly," so, "If you can't make this one, perhaps we will see you next time."

A man who robbed a Whataburger in Pinehurst was arrested after reportedly being recognized as a former employee of the franchise store, reports the Pinehurst Police Department.
