“Nunsense A-Men” runs through May 19 at OCP

Orange Community Players will close the 2012-13 season with “Nunsense A-Men” May 16-19. Times are 7:37 p.m. on May 16-18 and 2:37 p.m. on May 19. Tickets are $15 for adults and $8 for students. Directed by Diana Hall and dedicated to Jeff Hattman, five talented voices from Kevin Doss, Doug Rogers, Paul Burch, Justin Sanders and Jonathan McCollum are involved in this hilarious spoof about the misadventures of five nuns trying to manage a fundraiser. RED returns to Houston with great new record

Nashville rockers RED are returning to Houston to play Warehouse Live on Friday, May 3 and due to a high ticket demand, the all-ages show has been moved into the main ballroom with doors opening at 8 p.m. Tickets are $14 and can be purchased at the venue or online at warehousemusic.com.

Southeast Texan doing well on 'American Idol'

Four contestants remain in Season 12 of “American Idol,” and one is from Southeast Texas — Kree Harrison of Woodville. If Harrison makes it through this week’s elimination round and is in the final three, a slew of events will be held Saturday, May 4, and expect the “American Idol” cameras to be in town for the homecoming concert and activities.
