According to the Beaumont Police Department (BPD), the BPD Narcotics Unit, SWAT, Special Assignment Unit and K-9 executed a narcotics search warrant at a home in the 1500 block of Victoria at 5 a.m. on Jan. 5, arresting Anthony Carrizales, 43, of Beaumont.
Carrizales was reportedly detained while detectives searched the residence and located various evidence of narcotics trafficking including a large amount of suspected methamphetamine, heroin and fentanyl, as well as a stolen handgun.
Carrizales, a convicted felon, was arrested and transported to the Jefferson County Correctional Facility, where he was booked on three counts of possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon.
