Oct. 24, four people were arrested on drug charges after a warrant was executed by the Orange Regional Tactical Response Team.

According to Sgt. Isaac T. Henry III of the Orange Police Department (OPD), the warrant was obtained by the OPD Narcotic Division due to an investigation that revealed the homeowner was selling narcotics from his home on Circle S Street.

During a search of the residence, investigators reportedly found methamphetamine, digital scales and small, clear plastic baggies, all consistent with the distribution of narcotics. Officers also located several identifying documents that could be used to commit identity thefts.

Paul Labove, the homeowner, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, a second-degree felony, and an active felony theft warrant out of Jefferson County.

Three other people were found inside the home. Max White was arrested for being in possession of methamphetamine; Courtney Champman was arrested for outstanding felony warrants from Jefferson County; and Lauren Nance was arrested for several misdemeanor warrants from Orange County.

The quartet was transported to the Orange County Jail and Henry noted additional charges for fraudulent possession of identifying information are expected.
