Beaumont Comic Con returns for a fifth consecutive year and movie, comic and pop-culture fans can expect two full days of costume contests, for both the young and old, plus vendors and special appearances. This year’s headliner is Kevin Sorbo, international star of the television series, “Hercules,” which laid the groundwork for the immensely popular show, “Hercules: The Legendary Journeys.” He went on accept his first leading film role in the fantasy action feature, “Kull the Conqueror.” Famed illustrator Steve Garcia will be in town (“The Simpsons,” “X-Men: Evolution,” “Rugrats Go to Paris”) as will voice actor Scott Innes, who is best known for his voice over work in various Warner Bros. and Hanna-Barbera animated films, television shows, video games and commercials, most notably as Scooby-Doo, Scrappy-Doo, Popeye the Sailor, Fred Flintstone, Bugs Bunny and more.
