‘Beauty & The Beast’

Port Arthur Little Theatre’s “Beauty & The Best” will take the stage with 16 performances with four different casts beginning July 28-Aug. 20.

Set in the turn of - the - century New York City, the classic story tells of Belle, a young woman in a provincial town, and the Beast, who is really a young prince trapped under the spell of an enchantress. If the Beast can learn to love and be loved, the curse will end, and he will be transformed into his former self. But time is running out. If the Beast does not learn his lesson soon, he and his household will be doomed for all eternity. Tickets are $11-$15 and can be purchased online at palt.org. PALT is located at 4701 Jimmy Johnson Blvd. in Port Arthur.

Cast 1 will perform July 28, Aug. 6, Aug. 12 and Aug. 18. Cast 2 will perform July 29, Aug. 4, Aug. 13 and Aug. 19. Cast 3 will perform July 30, Aug. 5, Aug. 11 and Aug. 20. Cast 4 will perform July 29, Aug. 5, Aug. 12 and Aug. 19.

Showtimes are 7:30 p.m. on July 28-29, Aug. 4-5, Aug. 11-12 and Aug. 18-19. Matinees at 2:30 p.m. are scheduled for July 29-30, Aug. 5-6, Aug. 12-13 and Aug. 19-20.
