Classic Movie Night: The Wizard of Oz

Deemed by many as one of the greatest films of all time, “The Wizard of Oz” is a 1939 American musical fantasy film that was adapted from the 1900 children’s fantasy novel, “The Wonderful Wizard of Oz” by L. Frank Baum. The movie stars Judy Garland, Frank Morgan, Ray Bolger, Bert Lahar, Jack Haley, Billie Burke and Margaret Hamilton. Young Dorothy Gale and her dog Toto are swept away by a tornado from their Kansas farm to the magical Land of Oz and embark on a quest with three new friends to see the Wizard, who can return her to her home and fulfill the others’ wishes.
