It’s your last chance to see Johnny Lee, an urban cowboy and country music legend, on Saturday, July 29, at Honky Tonk Texas in Silsbee on his “Last Call Farewell Tour.”

Tickets start at $25 and can be purchased online at honkytonktexas.us.

Earlier this year, Lee, who is 76, announced he would retire after a recent Parkinson’s diagnosis, which has led him to slow down.

Born in Texas City, Texas, Lee rose to national stardom when his song, “Lookin’ for Love,” was used in the movie and soundtrack of the 1980 film, “Urban Cowboy,” which starred John Travolta and Debra Winger.

Lee went on to record a slew of radio hits such as “One in a Million,” “Bet Your Heart on Me,” “The Yellow Rose,” “Pickin’ Up Strangers,” “Cherokee Fiddle” and “Hey Bartender.”

L o c a l s Britt Godwin and Brad Brinkley will open the show. Honky Texas Texas is located in Silsbee at 2389 Highway 96 N.
