9/11 remembered on 9/9

Beaumont Botanical Gardens and the Colonel George Moffett Chapter of the DAR will host its annual 9/11 anniversary memorial on Saturday, Sept. 9, at 10 a.m. The memorial will be conducted inside the gardens at Tyrrell Park, in front of the 9/11 Memorial Garden.

Honored guests include all first responders, Beaumont Police Department, Beaumont Fire Department, EMS, city officials, pastoral staff, West Brook High School, Navy Color Guard, Boy Scouts of America, flag bearers, bugler, and Corvette club participants. Master of Ceremonies Shawn Bruno will be joined by speaker Rocky Bruno, who will recite the Declaration of Independence.
