Aimed Dance

Aimed Dance Summer Fest 2023 features three weekends of concerts and two weeks of intensive style classes in 1 summer celebration of contemporary dance held through July 29 on the Lamar University campus.

The Concert Series launches on Friday, July 14, at 6 p.m. with the Festival Opening Party including the first round of ArTalks on the Lawn. ArTalks on the Lawn allow the audience a backstage pass to the creative process and the artists behind the work. ArTalks (6 p.m.) and performances (7:30 pm) will take place every Friday and Saturday evening of the festival.

Concert dates are July 14-15, July 21-22, and July 28-19. Each weekend offers a separate lineup of artists and works, making each a unique experience. The festival will end with a final Closing Reception immediately following the performance Saturday, July 29.

All performances will be held in the Lamar University Studio Theatre (1030 E Lavaca St.) n Beaumont. Tickets are $20-$40. For more information, view aimeddancesummerfest.com.
