From Buna to Beaumont; Queens share the crown

Miss Beaumont 2022 Natalie Withers excitedly placed the crown upon Brooklyn Walden’s head, crowning her Miss Beaumont 2023. No strangers to the pageant world or each other, both young ladies are Buna natives and have amassed a collection of crowns.

Withers served as Miss Buna 2017, while Walden grew up collecting quite a few crowns and titles herself.

“There is still so much more to be done and so many more places and people to serve,” said Withers, as she took her last walk across the stage as Miss Beaumont.

As Walden begins her reign, she is honored and excited for the opportunity to represent Beaumont and the Miss Beaumont title in the months to come.

2023 Miss Beaumont Scholarship Pageant titleholders include Young Miss Beaumont Millie Melancon, Miss Beaumont Princess Abigail Gregory, Miss Beaumont Pre-Teen Victoria Carter, Miss Beaumont Jr. Teen Brynli Felps, Miss Beaumont Teen Taylor Bui, and Miss Beaumont Brooklyn Walden. “We are very excited to see what you ladies accomplish throughout your reign,” said pageant director Ally Souza.
