The West Orange-Stark Summer Stampede Kids Camp has kicked off with a bang, captivating young minds with an exciting array of math and science programs and activities. Designed to foster curiosity, creativity and handson learning, this immersive summer experience is organized to ignite a lifelong love for exploration and discovery and keep students learning during the summer months, reports WOCCISD Chief Communications Officer Dawn Martin.
Under the guidance of districtapproved instructors and experts, participants are immersed in engaging activities exploring various scientific concepts – from principles of aerodynamics to the mysteries of chemical reactions.
Summer Stampede serves to support the district’s stated commitment to providing quality education beyond the classroom, offering an enriching and diverse summer program aimed to inspire young minds, cultivate critical thinking and nurture a lifelong passion for learning for students of incoming students of grades 1 through 5. Registration is closed for the 2023 session.
