Back by popular demand, the Beaumont Art League presents the “Under $100 Show” beginning Wednesday, Oct. 11 through Wednesday, Nov. 29, from noon until 5 p.m. with an opening reception Saturday, Oct. 14, from 7-9 p.m. in the Scurlock Gallery.
Buyers may purchase art immediately, instead of waiting for the show to end.
The Beaumont Art League (BAL) was organized by a group of local artists in 1943, and has since has been an integral part of the local arts community. They are a member-supported, nonprofit organization that promotes the visual arts in Southeast Texas with monthly art exhibitions, juried competitions, workshops, classes, children's education, and studio sessions. Their spacious art galleries and classroom are located on the old Fairgrounds at 2675 Gulf Ave. in Beaumont.
Upcoming events include Landscape/ Seascape/Still Life Exhibition on Nov. 11-Jan. 3, 2024 and the Mike Cacioppo and Lamar Legends opening reception Sunday, Dec. 10.
