BPD seeks mall-area marauder

The Beaumont Police Department (BPD) is asking for the public’s assistance in locating a black man who allegedly robbed two people in the parking lot of Parkdale Mall.

Donning a blue-hooded sweat top, black pants, and a "U" tattoo near his eyes, the unknown man allegedly robbed two people in the parking lot at 6155 Eastex Freeway – Parkdale Mall’s address. According to witnesses, the perpetrator had one hand in the pocket of his hooded sweat top, and he pointed something that appeared to be a handgun at the victims. He left the area in a green Honda with no front bumper, and a spare “donut" tire on the driver's side.
