Two males, aged 14 and 16, and two females, both aged 14, were arrested for burglary on June 20 after Beaumont Police Department (BPD) officers responded to the burglary of a smoke shop just after 4 a.m.

According to BPD, at 4:11 a.m., officers responded to Boomtown Vapor, 6350 Phelan Blvd., in reference to a burglary in-progress. While in route, dispatch advised officers the suspects left the scene in a white SUV.

Officers arrived at the business and reviewed security footage, while other officers patrolled nearby searching for the suspect vehicle. A short time later, officers conducted a traffic stop in the 900 block of Langham on the possible suspect vehicle, which was occupied by several juveniles. Security camera footage reportedly revealed that the vehicle and juveniles inside were the same suspects who had burglarized the store. The juveniles were placed under arrest for burglary of a building then transported to Minnie Rogers Juvenile Detention Center
