Orange Police Department (OPD) Lt. Stephen Ward reported that the OPD Narcotic Division, assisted by the West Orange Police Department, executed a narcotic search warrant at 3509 Kenwood in Orange on June 14, seizing drugs and a firearm, and arresting one man in connection with alleged drug distribution.

Ward reported that the warrant was obtained after an investigation revealed suspect Larry Darnell Roberts was distributing methamphetamine throughout Orange. During a search of the residence, officers reportedly located over 700 grams of methamphetamine, a firearm, marijuana and several hundred pills to be identified at a later date. Roberts was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, a first-degree felony, and felon in possession of firearm, a third-degree felony.
