Response to a suspicious vehicle call led to the arrest of five people, including three juveniles, on July 17.

The Beaumont Police Department (BPD) reported officers responded to 7390 Pindo Circle in reference to a suspicious vehicle to find five subjects inside an SUV, along with firearms in open view. During the investigation, a total of four firearms, tools typically used for auto thefts, ski masks and gloves, were also recovered.

All the suspects, including two identified as Kenyon Thibodeaux and Terrance Moore, both 17, were arrested for unlawfully carrying a weapon. Thibodeaux and Moore were questioned by officers before being taken to the Jefferson County Correction Facility. The other three suspects, all juveniles aged 15, 15, and 16, were processed and transported to Minnie Rogers Juvenile Detention Center.
