Wanted Beaumont shooter snagged in San Antonio

The U.S. Marshal from the San Antonio Division, working with information from the Beaumont Police Department (BPD), arrested a Southeast Texas man wanted for murder in San Antonio on June 20, reported BPD.

Jamal McCain, 39, was wanted for the June 6 shooting death of 26-year old Curtis Crawford at the Pointe North Apartments on Magnolia Street in Beaumont.

A female suspect, Janesya Limbrick, 26, of Beaumont, was arrested and charged with murder the day of the homicide.

According to BPD, at 3:07 a.m. on the morning of the murder, officers responded to 3710 Magnolia in reference an unresponsive shooting victim near Building 15 of the apartments. Detectives obtained a murder warrant for Limbrick and McCain later the same day. Bond for both suspects was set at $1 million each.
