The Beaumont Convention and Visitors Bureau announced that almost all of the hotels in Beaumont ended June completely full due to reunions and sporting events.

The Perfect Game World Series brought in 100-plus teams during June 20 –25, bringing in an estimated economic impact of $780,000.

The MCM Elegante was completely booked due to hosting the Hebert High 13th Mass Reunion with 560 guests in attendance June 21 – June 25, adding an estimated economic impact of $300,000.

“Beaumont CVB is ecstatic for local restaurants, shops, museums and more to welcome these visitors, CVB’s Freddie Willard related. “Restaurants are … packed and local businesses should anticipate steady visitors.”
