Weed, weapons found in traffic stop

Two men were arrested June 26 after police stopped a vehicle on Threadneedle Street. The Beaumont Police Department (BPD), working in conjunction with the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, searched the vehicle and found a handgun and marijuana.

Arrested were Kendrick Walker, 28, for unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon; and Keelyn Randolph, 29, for possession of marijuana, unlawful carrying of a weapon and providing false identification.
