It’s a double dose of Classic Movie Night featuring two, cult-classic high school movies in the Jefferson Theatre on Saturday, July 29, beginning at 3 p.m. with 1978 musical, “Grease,” followed by the 1993 comedy, “Dazed and Confused” at 7 p.m.

Australian good girl Sandy (Olivia Newton John) and greaser Danny (John Travolta) fell in love over the summer. But when they unexpectedly discover they’re now in the same high school, will they be able to rekindle their romance despite their eccentric friends?

The film also produced one of the best movie soundtracks of all time and featured the hits “You’re the One That I Want,” “Hopelessly Devoted to You,” “Sandy,” “Summer Nights,” “Grease,” “We Go Together,” “Grease Lightnin’” and “Beauty School Dropout.”

Rated PG, the film is 1 hour and 50 minutes.

The adventures of a group of Texas teens on their last day of high school in 1976, centering on student Randall Floyd (Jason London), who moves easily among stoners, jocks and geeks. Floyd is a star athlete, but he also likes smoking weed, which presents a conundrum when his football coach demands he sign a “no drugs” pledge.

Also starring Ben Affleck, Matthew McConaughey, Milla Jovovich and Adam Goldberg, the film is Rated R and is 1 hour and 42 minutes.
