Sept. 11, a suspect wanted in an armed robbery was located and arrested by the Special Assignment Unit, report- ed the Beaumont Police Department (BPD).

Kevin Gothe, 33, of Beaumont, was arrested on a warrant, charged with aggravated robbery and transported to the Jefferson County Correctional Facility. Bond was set at $200,000.

On Sept. 7, accord- ing to BPD, the sus- pect entered Little Caesar’s Pizza,1755 E Cardinal Dr., through the back door. The suspect allegedly approached the man- ager and pointed a handgun at the work- er, demanding he get the money out of the safe. The suspect hit the manager in the head multiple times with the gun, punched him in the mouth and fled through the back door, BPD reported.
