Fisher to fill vacant Silsbee ISD board seat

Sept. 12, the Silsbee ISD Board of Trustees unanimously approved Kenny Fisher to fill the vacant board Place 7 seat previously held by Sherrie Taylor.

Taylor resigned from her position in May due to her husband’s relocation for work.

Fisher, a Silsbee High School alum, and Jonta Miller, another trustee appointed last month to replace Tom Hardy in Place 6, will serve until the upcoming elections in May.
