Second man arrested in two-year-old murder

More than two years later, a second man has been arrested in the 2021 murder of Tyler Womack.

The Beaumont Police Department (BPD) reported on Sept. 14 that officers arrested Terry Jerome Booker Jr., 27, of Beaumont, on a murder warrant for the July 11, 2021, Womack murder that occurred in the 4200 block of Woodlawn Street. Booker’s bond was set at $1 million.

BPD stated the investigation has been ongoing for more than two years and additional arrests are expected.
