Port Arthur Little Theatre presents “The Play That Goes Wrong” on Sept. 29-Oct. 1, and Oct. 6-8. Showtimes are 7:30 p.m. for Sept. 29-30, Oct. 6-7, and 2:30 p.m. Oct. 1 and Oct. 8.

Tickets start at $9 and can be purchased online at palt.org or by calling (409) 727-7258.

Directed by Julie James, the evening welcomes patrons to the opening night of the Cornley University Drama Society’s newest production, “The Murder of Haversham Manor,” where things are quickly going from bad to utterly disastrous.

This 1920s whodunit has everything you never wanted in a show; an unconscious lady, a corpse that can’t play dead and actors who trip over everything (including their lines). Nevertheless, the accident-prone thespians battle against all odds to make it through to their final curtain call, with hilarious consequences! Part Monty Python… part Sherlock Holmes… this Olivier-winning comedy is a global phenomenon that’s guaranteed to leave you aching with laughter.

The cast includes Isaac Duerksen, Michael Vu, Andy McCall, Stephen McDowell, Nic Austin, Madison Chapman, Ben Porter, Rhiannon Pletcher, Jorge Rodriguez, Ryder Lanclos, Elly Schroeder, CJ Drago, Brianna Lacy, Bailee McDowell, Jasmin Reyes and Jordyn Sonnier.

PALT is located at 4701 Jimmy Johnson Blvd. in Port Arthur.
