Beaumont Animal Care, 1884 Pine St. in Beaumont, is opening the doors to the animal shelter for its first-ever after-hours open house event on Nov. 17 from 5 – 7 p.m.

“We are excited to welcome animal lovers and community members to our Open House at the Dog House Event,” BAC announced in an open invitation. “The event promises an evening filled with furry friends and opportunities to learn about the shelter’s mission and programs. If you have never visited the shelter, maybe due to a busy work schedule or after-school activities with the family, now is the time.”

Admission is free and guests can expect to:

• Tour the shelter: Walk through the facility and see the newly renovated epoxy floors and repainted kennels.

• Get involved: Learn about volunteer opportunities, how to become a foster, and other services BAC offers to residents.

• Meet adorable residents: Get up close and personal with the lovable cats and dogs currently seeking their forever homes.

• Refreshments: Complimentary refreshments and light snacks will be available.

“This event is a fantastic opportunity to connect our staff, animals and community members, who all share the same goal and passion,” the BAC invite further beckoned. “We want to invite all community organizations, local media and the public to the Open House at the Dog House Event.

“We believe it’s an excellent opportunity for everyone to discover the many ways they can support our shelter and make a difference in the lives of animals in need.”
