The evolution of roller skates goes back to 1743 where the first recorded use of stakes was used in a London stage performance. Fast forward to the 20th century. Skates became revolutionized then came indoor roller rinks – a social hub for communities around the world. These rinks featured smooth, polished floors and offered a safe environment for skaters of all skill levels for family outings, dates and social gatherings. Now, Manning’s takes skating to another level with “Adult Night,” specifically designed for the older crowd complete with DJ Wild Child playing popular tunes. No worries if you don’t have skates ($5 rental).
