A bungling trio of suspects the Beaumont Police Department (BPD) dubbed “The Three Stooges” are featured in video surveillance from the scene of an armed robbery that took place Dec. 31, 2023, tripping over each other to get to get to the look left in the safe of Popeyes.
The New Year’s Eve robbery suspects wore masks, but BPD is hoping someone can recognize the distinctive clothing worn by “Larry, Curly and Moe” as they “went slipping and sliding into Popeyes on Phelan, armed with handguns, threatening employees and demanding money” at 8:50 p.m.
Police advise that the suspects arrived and left in a blue vehicle seen at the beginning of video surveillance captured on Popeyes footage.
