The Big Thicket Association is hosting its annual “Super Bowl Sunday Hike” beginning at the North End Turkey Creek Trail on Sunday, Feb. 11, at 2 p.m. The hike is approximately 4 miles, but hikers can choose shorter or longer options. Participants can meet at the Big Thicket Visitor Center (6102 FM 420) in Kountze at 1:30 p.m. or at the trailhead at 2 p.m. Bring water, snacks, insect repellent, and good walking shoes.
