A weekend of celebratory events culminated with the 37th annual MLK Jr. Brunch and Celebration at the Robert A “Bob” Bowers Civic Center in Port Arthur on Monday, Jan.

From Jan. 13-20, Lamar University will celebrate and reflect on the life and legacy of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. with a series of events and days of service.
