Just after 4 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 7, Port Arthur Police Department (PAPD) officers responded to a call in reference to a sexual assault in the 4500 block of Dryden Road, according to a news release.
During the course of investigating the incident, officers “were able to determine that a sexual assault had taken place and a suspect had returned to the area,” according to a news release. Officers arrested the suspect and transported him to the Jefferson County Correctional Facility. This incident is under investigation.
