A Port Arthur pizza driver was robbed at gunpoint Thursday night, April 16, as he was attempting to make a delivery, reports the Port Arthur Police Department.

According to a news release from PAPD, officers responded to the 5300 block of Grant Avenue in reference to an aggravated robbery at 10:29 p.m. The victim reportedly told investigators that two black males approached him, one of them brandishing a handgun, and demanded money before fleeing on foot.

The Beaumont Cops & Kids Carnival scheduled for April 18 has been postponed due to inclement weather, announced BPD on April 16. According to a news release from BPD, organizers will inform the public of the new date and location once they work out the details.
