Beaumont Community Players will finish their 99th season with “The Wizard of Oz,” which was last performed by the company in 1999. Everyone knows the history, the 1939 musical that was based on the 1900 children’s fantasy novel. Directed locally by Lindsay Downs, the cast includes Jordan Haseldon (Dorothy), Bryan Buzbee (Scarecrow), Zach Belknap (Cowardly Lion), T.J. Scott (Tin Man), Marie Panchot (Glinda the Good Witch), Justice Morrow (The Wicked Witch) and Patrick Anderson (Wizard of Oz) and let’s not forget Toto. Showtimes are 7:30 p.m. with a 2 p.m. matinee Saturday, May 18. Tickets can be purchased online at beaumontstages.com.
