The 2023 Orangefield “Has Beens” Men’s Summer League Basketball season concluded Aug. 15. With this year’s theme being ’80s cartoons, GI Joe finished the season with nine consecutive wins and defeated ThunderCats 62-45 in the championship.
Lifting the coveted trophy was Ryan Duetsch, Ben Elliott, Byron Bacon, Newly Hunt, James Freeman, Taylor Garrett, Mike Lund and Corey Smith.
Money raised each season is donated to the Orangefield Athletic Booster Club.
