Beaumont Children’s Museum will celebrate seven years with a “Capes and Crowns” themed-day on Saturday, June 11, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Organizers are planning super hero and princess-themed activities throughout the day, as well as special guests from Jack and Jill’s Storybook Co.

Tickets are $5 for adults and children, $4 for military families and seniors, and free for children under the age of 1. They are available online at beaumontchildrensmuseum.org.

The Beaumont Children’s Museum is a children’s museum temporarily located in the Civic Center at 701 Main St. The museum started in 2008 then opened for exhibits in 2010 as a “museum without walls.” Some of the programs include summer, fall, winter, and spring camps based on STEAM topics; Toddler Takeover, which includes structured programming for ages 5 and younger; and MakerSpace Saturdays on the second and fourth Saturdays of each month and are intended for eager inventors to have hands-on fun in BCM’s tinkering and building space.
