The fourth annual Beaumont Comic Con returns two days to Ford Exhibit Hall on Saturday, Sept. 24, and Sunday, Sept. 25, with doors opening both days at 10 a.m. Tickets start at $10 and can be purchased online at ticketmaster.com or the Ford Park box office at 5115 Interstate 10 South in Beaumont.

Guests scheduled to appear are Melanie Kohn, Greg Peters, Alan Fernandes, C. Andrew Nelson and more.

Kohn is a former child actress who voiced Lucy on “Peanuts” during the 1970s in films such as “It’s a Mystery, Charlie Brown,” “It’s the Easter Beagle, Charlie Brown,” “Be My Valentine, Charlie Brown” and “You’re a Good Sport, Charlie Brown.”

Peters is an animator who worked on projects like “Adventures in Dinosaur City,” “Dilbert,” “Babes in Toyland,” “Rugrats” and “Baby Looney Tunes.”

Fernandes is an actor who portrayed Tusken Raider in “Star Wars: Episode IV a New Hope.”

Nelson is an award-winning artist, actor, writer, consultant, and motivational speaker. He spent years as a visual effects artist with Light & Magic and LucasArts Entertainment. While there, he helped create and design such popular video games as Dark Forces, Rebel Assault II, Full Throttle, The Dig, Jedi Knight, Curse of Monkey Island, Masters of Teras Kasi, Shadows of the Empire, Rogue Squadron, and Indiana Jones & the Infernal Machine

He may be best known for having played the character of Darth Vader in the Special Edition rerelease of the original “Star Wars” trilogy as well as in the Rebel Assault II and Dark Forces games from LucasArts. Andrew, who began playing Vader for Lucasfilm in 1994, has portrayed the infamous dark lord for commercials, television shows, print, games, and live appearances. He has managed to spend more time in the official Vader costume than any other actor.

This year’s event will also feature more than two-dozen custom cars and more than 60 vendors, which include Brothers Grimm, Pantheon Collectibles, Boba Joes, Comics Kingdom, Bohemian Bee, The Slab Guy, Kaotik Cow Collectibles, Star Trek: Pathfinder, Starfleet International, Nerd Fest, The Nerd Zone, Blue Ruby Studios, Lyons Den, The Cosmic Outpost and Texas Toy Alliance.
