City of Beaumont announces Fourth of July celebration

The City of Beaumont announced details for the 36th annual Fourth of July Celebration on Monday, July 4, beginning at 5 p.m. at the Downtown Event Centre and Lake. This spectacular annual celebration offers a sensational salute to our nation's history featuring live entertainment, food trucks, beer garden and the largest fireworks show in Southeast Texas. Musical performers include the Curse & the Cure, Mambo Jazz Kings, Pop Gun and music by DJ local. 

In addition to the festivities on the grounds of the Event Centre, a special patriotic performance by the Symphony of Southeast Texas will take place at the Julie Rogers Theatre at 8 p.m.

Gates open at 5 p.m., and fireworks begin at 9 p.m. Admission to all events and performances is free, while local food trucks will offer a selection of food, beverages and sweet treats for sale. Lawn chairs, blankets and coolers are permitted but are subject to search. No outside alcohol may be brought into the event.
