The City of Beaumont announced its free Summer Concert Series, monthly from June to August in Downtown Beaumont. This exciting lineup features Go Skate Day, Summer Sundown Concert, and Jazz at the Lake. This free series offers entertainment for all ages.
The Go Skate Day concert begins Saturday, June 22, from 4-10 p.m. at the Beaumont Skate Park next to the Lakeside Center in downtown. Go Skate Day is a national annual celebration that encourages individuals of all ages to skateboard within the community while promoting creativity and healthy activity. The event will feature live music and food trucks along with an age 18 and up skate competition hosted by EVRYNG apparel. Entries can be submitted online or in person at the event. The Go Skate Day concert is supported by Del Papa Distributing.
The Sundown Concert is the perfect opportunity to enjoy skyline views of Downtown Beaumont while overlooking the beautiful Event Centre Lake. Featuring live music from local soul group, Hot Grits, on Thursday, July 11, 6-8 p.m., families are encouraged to picnic around the lake, enjoy the playground, visit the resident ducks and enjoy live music as the sun sets on our great city. The Summer Sundown Concert is supported by Giglio Distributing.
Cool off from the heat at the annual Jazz at the Lake concert featuring saxophonist, Dean James, on Thursday, Aug. 8, from 5:30-7 p.m. inside the Downtown Event Centre. In addition to live jazz music from regional musicians, there will be beer, wine, and concessions for sale. This event is free and open to the public and welcomes downtown professionals and families alike to enjoy the sights and sounds at the Event Centre and Lake which have become the anchor of activity in Downtown Beaumont and the perfect backdrop for live music.
